Dairy Queen has announced on social media that they are bringing back their free cone day on Monday, March 21.

After having to cancel the sort of customer appreciation day because of COVID-19 mandates in every state and the pandemic itself, they have opened up the gates to enjoy another fan favorite of the franchise.

This promotion is not available at all DQ locations. This does not include those located in malls or strip malls, but it does include some area restaurants. (Find a location near you here.)

Fans were invited on Twitter to post their joy and an emoji in the replies. Fans were saying how happy they were, one person said it was her birthday and DQ picked the perfect day.

Dairy Queen is a huge supporter of the Children's Miracle Network and has raised hundreds of millions for the organization.  August is their Blizzard day for the cause. Children's Miracle Network funds the Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare and cares for patients who have some of the most complex, rare, and traumatic conditions in pediatric medicine, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, spina bifida, and hydrocephalus.

Those are big names, but they all require ongoing care and not a cure, that's why Dairy Queen gets involved every year because that hospital needs funding to help children for a lifetime.

The special offer of a free cone is available all day and you don't have to make a purchase. The free cone is a small vanilla soft-serve cone.
