More than two million pounds of chicken is being recalled from Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc. because it may contain metal pieces.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the news in a press release Wednesday (November 6th).

The chicken in question was shipped to several states, including Minnesota, and produced between the dates of October 21st and November 4th.

The recall includes a wide range of the company's products, from ready-to-cook chicken tenderloins to whole chicken legs. To see a full list of labels and products impacted by the recall, click here.

The good news is that there haven't been any reports of injury or illness as of now.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns about the recall, you are asked to contact a representative from the company. You can do so at 888-831-7007.

Yesterday, Padrino Foods also issued a recall for their beef tamales because some were mislabeled, stating that the food was beef when it really contained pork.
