March 27, 2013 The Duluth Lakewalk will be extended this spring to include a pedestrian tunnel that will allow users to cross Highway 61 safely. On April 8th, as part of the construction of Phase 5 of the Lakewalk East Extension, the City of Duluth will be closing Congdon Boulevard north of 61st Avenue East.
