I've been in Twin Ports radio close to twenty years. I started in November of 1995 on talk radio WEBC AM 560. I joined the Kool 101.7 staff in 1998 and became the Afternoon Drive personality in 2001. In 2005 I was honored to receive a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD by the MINNESOTA ROCK AND COUNTRY HALL OF FAME, now the MID AMERICA MUSIC HALL OF FAME. I was born in Cleveland ohio and raised in Duluth. Although I've traveled to all but two of the fifty states, and lived in ten of them, I'm proud to call the Northland my home. Thank you for sharing part of your afternoon with me on Kool 101.7 over the years.

Rayman’s Song of the Day-Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (HEARTBREAKER) by Rolling Stones [VIDEO]]
This tells two stories, a young man shot by police in a case of mistaken identity, and a 10-year girl who dies in an alley of a drug overdose. Neither is based on a true story, but is a commentary on urban America.
Take a Ride on the Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad
Recently Mrs. Rayman, my brother in law Rick, and Gus went for a ride on the Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad train. The route the train took was scenic, and everyone had a wonderful time. The coolest part of the whole trip though, was the kindness of the entire crew. The engineer and conductor were Gus's favorite, he still talks about them. They went out of their way to insure that everyo
Your Used Car May be Hiding a Secret, it May Have Been “Title Washed”
When it's time to replace your vehicle, many folks are opting for used rather than new. Often times in order to grab a "great deal" before someone else beats them to it, they wind up with a faulty vehicle. Just because a used car is cheap and seems OK during a test drive doesn't mean it's safe to buy

Why Do Guys Exaggerate Their Height?
Interesting article I read in Mens Health Magazine about how guys tend to fib a bit when it comes to revealing their height. I can't say I blame them. I blame it on today's culture.
Rayman’s Song of the Day-Drivers Seat by Sniff ‘n’ the Tears [VIDEO]
The song is not really about the joys of driving, it is about the fragmented, conflicting emotions that occur after the end of a relationship, and the difficulty of imagining never being with the significant other again
Keith Richard’s Childrens Book ‘Gus and Me- The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar’ Hits the Stores Today
I'm really excited about this book for a couple reasons. First, I'm a huge Rolling Stones fan and have been since I was a kid, Plus, my grandson's name is Gus, so me ordering the book was pretty much a given. I had a chance to read the sneaks, and if you happen to be a granddad, or, soon to be, I encourage you to get the book. It's refreshing to see a side of Keith few people realize he has. Th
The Worst Place to Pick Up a Cold Virus at Work and How to Prevent It
It's that time of the year again when cold and flu viruses hit. Viruses spread like wildfire in an average office, getting from people’s hands onto the communal coffeepot within hours and spreading from doors to desks almost instantly, an expert reported Monday, according to an article in Today.com. It only takes two to four hours for a virus to get off, say, a coffee pot handle and onto a desk.

Rayman’s Song of the Day-The Long Run by The Eagles
In an interview with Don Felder, he says: "When you try to match yourself, it gets harder and harder the more successful you are. So we got to a point where we realized we've got to just wrap this up and end it here and get out of the studio and get on the road. There were a lot of arguments and dissension and contentious arguments about songs and schedules. It was really not heading in the r
