I must admit I'm a bit of a weather junkie. My phone is stacked with weather/radar apps, my radios all have weather stations on them, and I continually bug Adam Clark about the weather forecasts. I guess in you live in the Northland, weather is always on our minds. Accuweather has just released their predictions for this Winter season nationwide.

According to an article in today's USA Today,  in the north-central U.S., winter has already paid an early unwelcome early visit: Parts of South Dakota were buried under as much as four feet of snow last week. This is likely a preview of coming attractions, as AccuWeather expects several strong systems that will unleash above-average amounts of snow.

Time to put together my emergency bag complete with water, food, blanket and of course my trusty snow shovel.
