Winter Street To Close November 28 For Track Repairs

The City of Superior is alerting residents that railroad track repairs will close a portion of a downtown street on Tuesday, November 28.  The closure will happen on Winter Street - between Garfield and Oakes Avenues starting at 8:30 AM.

During the closure, crews with BNSF railroad will make the necessary track repairs to the crossing.  A detour will be in place that reroutes traffic down Banks Avenue to Belknap and then back around down Garfield from the roundabout.

The roadway is expected to re-open around 2:30 PM.
