Why Do People Chew On Ice? New GE Counter Top Appliance Makes Ice Nuggets

Like a lot of things - there are two camps:  Those who chew on ice cubes and those that don't.  Well, it looks like good news for those who like to chew on frozen water - or at least - good news for people looking for a convenient way to make ice cubes.

Next year, GE will roll out a new counter top appliance that not only makes ice but makes "ice nuggets" - those chunky little chunks of ice that ice chewers especially love.

The Opal Nugget Ice Maker is set to debut in the summer of 2016.  From what I can deduce from the online collateral information its price point is just under $400.
