The holidays are filled with traditions and events that both make and cultivate memories.  Whether it's with family and friends or as part of a larger community group, the celebrations of the season are something that many people look forward to.

One of those community events is the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony for the City of Superior.  It's become a tradition over the last few decades to flip the switch on the decorated tree that's located at the corner of Belknap Street and Tower Avenue and then continue to have some family fun with a celebration into the evening.

The date of the Tree Lighting Ceremony for 2021 has been set for Friday, November 26, 5:30 PM at Center City Park.  Everyone is invited to attend and have some fun.

Organizers have planned something for everyone.  In addition to the tree lighting activity, there'll be music, treats to eat, coffee, and hot chocolate.  The city will have fire pits to warm up by located throughout Center City Park.  And, there'll even be a visit from a special guest; Santa and his elves will make a stop allowing for visits with children and plenty of photo opportunities.

Superior's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is always a fun time - with plenty of free and easy parking in the area surrounding the park and lots of fun activities to take part in.
