Good news for those looking for a COVID-19 vaccine:  The community-based clinic site located at Wessman Arena in Superior is now welcoming walk-ins to their shots.  Additionally, the clinic is still offering pre-registration appointments at the location using the Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Registry.

The change comes as vaccine numbers continue to rise and the extreme demands on the location have eased up at least a little.  The change to allow for walk-ins is also part of the effort to assure that all of those people who want a COVID-19 vaccine can obtain one - as the march for herd immunity (and light at the end of the tunnel) continues on.

The current hours of operation for the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Wessman Arena (2701 Catlin Avenue in Superior) are Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.  Anyone who is age 16 and older and lives, works, or studies in Wisconsin is eligible to utilize the clinic services at Wessman.  This particular site offers the Pfizer vaccine.  Questions about the vaccine and registration support is available to individuals by calling toll-free:  (844) 684-1064.  Click here if you would like to visit the Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Registry website to schedule a pre-registered appointment.
