Wednesday’s Twins at Brewers Game to Be Carried Free On YouTube
Major League Baseball and YouTube have a partnership that allows them to exclusively carry games throughout the season. On August 14, they'll feature the Minnesota Twins.
The 1:00 p.m. game featuring the Minnesota Twins at the Milwaukee Brewers will be the sixth MLB Game of the Week Live on YouTube. YouTube will have exclusive rights to telecast the game and it will be made available globally, allowing fans to view the game, free of charge and without signing up for a YouTube account, on any PC, mobile device or smart TV.
As long as you can access YouTube, you'll be able to see the game. You can go directly to the game by visiting YouTube.com/Twins. This is especially good news for those with Dish Network, who recently dropped Fox Sports North from their lineup.
According to Twinsbaseball.com, the broadcast team will feature analysis from four-time Twins All-Star and 2006 American League MVP Justin Morneau, along with three-time Brewers All-Star Dan Plesac. Rich Waltz will handle play-by-play, while Minnesota native Jamie Hersch provides insight from the field.
This will be the second game of a two-game Interleague Border Battle series featuring two teams fighting to earn a trip to the postseason.
