Wednesday Night Sailboat Races Have Started For The Summer [VIDEO]

The Wednesday Night Sailboat Races began last night put on by the Duluth Yacht Club and it is definitely something to watch and behold. You can watch the races from many vantage points along the shore within approximately 10 miles of the Duluth Shipping Channel. The races start at 6:15pm each week and last for about an hour.

Some of the best places to watch would be the deck or courtyard at the Fitgers Brewery Complex and other stops all along the lakewalk. This is a great way to enjoy a fun evening outdoors for all ages. The Sailboat Race schedule is as follows:

Spring Series (7 Races, Count Best 5)

Summer Series (4 Races, Count All)

July 10, 2019, July 17, 2019, July 24, 2019, July 31, 2019.

Fall Series (6 Races, Count Best 5)

August 7, 2019, August 14, 2019, August 21, 2019, August 28, 2019, September 4, 2019 and September 11, 2019.
