Viking Lakes Summer Skolstice Concert Happens June 20-22

A mid-summer concert event in the Twin Cities promises a little of "something for everyone".  The event is being billed as the Viking Lakes Summer Skolstice - featuring music, food, fun, and art - happening June 20 through June 22 in Edina.

A quick look at the entertainment lineup shows some pretty big classic rock names - including Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, and the Family Stone - along with other names like Sheila E, Elle King, and Joss Stone.

The venue is in Viking Lakes which their website describes as "a bold, mixed-use development located in Eagan, Minnesota. It will be a world-class environment with over three million square feet of corporate office, medical, retail, entertainment and multi-family housing. Viking Lakes will feature unique amenities for tenants, residents, guests and sports fans."  Viking Lakes is already "home to Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, the Minnesota Vikings World Headquarters and Vikings Museum."

Ticket prices are $45.00 per day - with the option to upgrade with Purple & Gold VIP tickets which are $100.00 per day, but include early access to the stadium, reserved viewing area on the floor, private restrooms, exclusive food and beverage areas, and commemorative gift.
