Veterans Memorial Hall 5K Fun Run/Walk Happens May 18

One of the sure signs of spring are the number of 5K races that start to appear around this time of year.  One of those is happening on Saturday, May 18.  That's the date of the Veterans Memorial Hall 5K Fun Run/Walk.  The race gets started at 9:00 AM, at The Other Place Bar and Grill - 3930 East Calvary Road in Duluth.  There'll be free parking for participants across the street in the Voyageur Bus Company lot.

This annual event is open to racers (and walkers) of all ages.  Cost is $25.00.  Interested participants can preregister online with a credit card by clicking here. Veterans Memorial Hall was established in 1910 and is a joint program between the St. Louis County Historical Society and military service veterans of northeastern Minnesota. Its mission is to gather, preserve, interpret and promote the rich and diverse human experiences of veterans, their families and communities.
