The 14 trees that were vandalized over the Fourth of July Weekend in Superior are going to be replaced - thanks to the support of two community-minded businesses.

Superior Choice Credit Union and Positively Superior Magazine stepped forward with their financial support to replace the trees on Hughitt Avenue between Broadway and North 12th Street.

Mary Morgan - the Director of the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department for the city said that these firms stepped forward on their own after seeing the damaged trees.

The trees will be planted by the city crews using a variety of different species - following the cities long range tree plan.
