It was a hard fought battle but the US men's curling team looked sharp for most of the tourney eventually beating Japan, again, to take the bronze medal. It was their third game in a row after losing to Denmark, and beating Japan in the first round of play.

The Team led by Duluth's John Shuster, won their way into the playoffs drawing Japan. After falling behind they got the win after a controversial call by John involving a Japanese rock that may or may not have affected the US stone. They moved on to meet Denmark for a chance to play Canada for the gold medal. The US men fell behind early and couldn't make a comback charge.

The next game was for the Bronze and the US met Japan again. The Japanese were intent on proving they shouldn't have lost the first game to the US, but Team Shuster pulled off another win en route to a Bronze medal.

Congrats guys!!!
