The daily commute along I-35 in Duluth will bring some lane closures - March 2 through March 6.  Work crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be performing inspections in the I-35 tunnels in both the northbound and southbound lanes  - as part of a routine maintenance project.

According to information released by MNDOT, the lane closures will occur during the daytime hours - between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM on each of the five days that it is scheduled.  While that will affect the morning drive commute, the afternoon drive home should find all of the lanes open and ready for traffic.

At this point, MNDOT doesn't see any delays or deviance from the inspection timetable.  However - just like any outdoor road project, the timeline is susceptible to changes due to the weather or any other unforeseen circumstance.
