Tom’s Watch Bar Opening First Midwest Location in Minnesota
Tom's Watch Bar is a sports lovers dream come true, and they are opening their first Midwest location in Minnesota.
Tom's Watch Bar is a growing chain of sports bars that is best known for their 360 Viewing Room that features a combination of several giant screens, including one 'stadium sized' screen, and hundreds of smaller ones showing everything from the NFL and NBA, to auto racing and horse racing. They also offer "premium sound for the big games, and the ability to personalize the sound for your game of choice."
The new 12,000-square-foot Minnesota location will be in the City Center complex in Downtown Minneapolis, in the same space that once housed Rosa Mexicano and Prime 6 restaurants, and has been vacant since 2018.
According to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, the new Tom's Watch Bar location will open next year in Minneapolis. They currently have six locations located in Colorado, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Connecticut and Washington according to their website.
They not only offer an amazing place to watch the games, but they also have a huge selection of adult beverages and a menu that serves up sports bar classics like burgers, wings, pizza, tacos, nachos, and a selection of vegan and gluten-free options.
The City Center building is owned by the Samsung corporation and is currently facing some problems with its office space, as Target had nearly 1 million square feet of office space leased, but is now looking to sublease much of that space as many workers were given the option to work remotely after the pandemic and Target doesn't need the space anymore.
