Three Road Projects Start Monday In Superior

Three week-long road projects in Superior will kick-off on Monday, March 27.  Crews with the City of Superior will be making concrete repairs to two major arterial routes:  US Highway 2/53 on the eastern edge of town and on Tower Avenue/Highway 35.

Here is a run-down of what's going to be affected:

• US Highway 2 / US Highway 35:  There will be one major work site along this route this week:  37th Avenue East to 31st Avenue East.  The roadway will be completely closed to traffic and a detour will be posted.
• US Highway 35 / Tower Avenue:  Southbound lanes between 17th and 18th Streets will be closed.  Traffic will be diverted to the northbound lanes.
• US Highway 35/Tower Avenue:  The middle turn lane between 55th and 56th Streets will be closed.
