When I was little, I remember riding an Amtrak train from Duluth to Minneapolis and back several times. Now, it looks like rail service between those two areas could return.

While public transportation might get a lot of press in the more-populated parts of the state, it's probably the smaller towns and rural communities that have the biggest need. A push by the Minnesota Department of Transportation aims to make access easier in some of those areas.

I am the thrilled that Northland roads are on the forefront of people's minds, most need help.  Mayor Larson introduced a "Street Improvement Program" which would tax residents as well as visitors to our city.  It requires a referendum to pass on November 7.  There are three upcoming meetings for you to have your say whether it's nay or yay.

There is a lot to see when you visit Canal Park in Duluth, MN.  Whether you are a local or someone who is visiting from out of town you can choose a variety of ways to get around and ensure you see all there is to offer and most modes of transportation add FUN to the equation.

According to the Superior Telegram it's good news for folks like myself who live in Lake Nebagamon and the surrounding area. . Park and Ride is now available. Park and Ride is basically "car pooling", and if you don't mind riding with others while someone else drives, you're all set.
