I have crafted a bowl for this years Empty Bowl Fundraiser, the money goes to the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank and happensTuesday.April 17th.

Empty Bowl 2015 happens Tuesday, April 14 - 10 AM to 6:30 PM at the Duluth Depot.  As in years past, the general public is invited to take part in this annual event that raises money for the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank.

Not only is soup good food - but apparently it raises a lot of money, too!  Officials with the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank are thankful to Twin Ports residents who helped them raise $59,249 at the event that was held April 15th and 16th at The Depot.  That dollar amount translates into 242,000 meals for northland residents in need.

Don't make any lunch plans for this Tuesday;  You HAVE a date at the Empty Bowl! The annual Empty Bowl fundraiser to benefit Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank happens this Monday and Tuesday,  April 15th and 16th.  This years event is two days - with a sneak-peek Monday evening and the actual luncheon on Tuesday - at the Duluth Depot.
