Facebook was buzzing with a story of a gun threat called in to Lincoln Park Middle School and the kid was in the school, it scared a lot of people fast because of other shootings around the nation, directly from Northland's News Center our media partner and the Duluth Police Department, here is what is going on.

Do you know the person pictured above?  Duluth Police are looking Miles Allen Mathison in conjunction with two warrants.

Lincoln Park residents, business owners, and interested community-minded citizens are invited to attend a meeting that will seek to blend resources to create the Lincoln Park Community Safety Initiative.  The aim of the meeting is to create a safer, sustainable neighborhood for everyone.

The Saint Louis County Board is helping the Duluth Police Department solve the recent copper wire theft at the Haines Road construction project with a $5,000 reward.

As part of their plan to build a bridge between rental property owners and the community, the local police department is hosting a social.

A house fire that the Duluth Police and the Duluth Fire Department responded to on Wednesday March 20th is being labeled an arson fire.

The Duluth Police Department is asking for your help in finding the following person - their Property Crimes Wanted Person Of The Week.  He's wanted in connection with probation violation charges, stemming from a second degree burglary conviction and an aiding an offender conviction.

Her name:  Destiny Gilbert.  There is a warrant out for her arrest for violation of probation, stemming from a felony theft conviction.  Destiny is the Duluth Police's latest Property Crimes Wanted Person Of The Week.

Following a lead, the Duluth Police Department apprehended James Thomas Garasha - their Property Crimes Wanted Person Of The Week.  On Friday morning, the police received a call that Garasha was at Fond Du Luth Casino.  Officers arrived and arrested the suspect without incident.  He was transported to the Saint Louis County Jail and booked on the felony warrant.

Since introducing the Property Crimes Wanted Person Of The Week, the Duluth Police Department has had much success, apprehending the last few suspects quickly after putting the word out.  They are hoping for similar results this week.

Do you know this person?  The photo is from a Walmart surveillance camera.  The female in the photo is believed to be in possession of credit cards that were stolen from the Miller Hill Mall on Saturday, January 12th 2013.

The Duluth Police Department is looking for the public's help in locating a person of interest in a purse snatching and identity theft incident.
