A pizza chain on London Road in Duluth is closing its doors permanently next month.

After serving Duluth area youth and families for 112 years, Woodland Hills has announced they will be forced to close due to an " insurmountable financial burden".

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has announced that it is closing one of it's stores after being open in Duluth for many years.

Zeigeist Cafe announced they will be closing temporarily.

The Verso Paper plant in Duluth is going to be idled indefinitely at the end of June.

This is sad news.

All remaining Shopko stores to close including 5 in the Northland and 1 in Northern Wisconsin by mid June.

The fashion retailer, Charlotte Russe has announced they are going out of business. There is currently one location in Duluth, at the Miller Hill Mall.

It's sad news for many in Superior as a sign on the door for the Breakwater Restaurant in Superior said "Closed until further notice."

The Children's Place at the Miller Hill Mall in Duluth has signs all over that indicates the store is closing.

For over 35 years in Duluth, Explorations Toy Store has been a great place for toys both educational and for fun. The toy store plans on closing its doors.

It has been around for nearly three decades.
