Superior’s North 58th Street Closed August 28-September 1 For Pipeline Work

A popular "cross-town route" in Superior will be closed this week.  North 58th Street - between Cedar Avenue and Weeks Avenue - will be closed completely to traffic starting Monday, August 28 at 7:00 AM;  in addition, the bike trail will also be closed.

The closure is necessary to allow crews the ability to work on the Enbridge pipeline that crosses at this location.

The North 58th Street route is often used by drivers in South Superior to "cross town" to East End more efficiently;  it's also used by golfers due to its proximity to the Nemadji Golf Course.

The road and bike trail are expected to be re-open to traffic as of 5:00 PM Friday, September 1.
