Navigating through the process of searching for a new or different job can be a complex affair.  At the other end of the spectrum, filing the proper paperwork necessary to apply for unemployment benefits can also be a daunting task.

That's why it's good to know that there is free help out there available for individuals who need some assistance.

The Superior Public Library offers a standing monthly event that's designed to help people with all things job related.  On the third Wednesday of every month, the library hosts staff from the Job Center of Wisconsin to provide that necessary assistance between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

During the event every month, those job professionals are available to help people in their job search, with answers to questions, tips, and suggestions along the way.  They'll make sure that your job search maximizes all of the available resources out there available.

At the same time, they can also assist with unemployment needs.  Those same professionals are ready to help people navigate the Wisconsin unemployment website to wade through the (sometimes) complex paperwork and application process.

The assistance from the Job Center of Wisconsin is free to individuals who visit the Superior Public Library during on the third Wednesdays of the month for the event.

As stated, the event is scheduled to occur at the Superior Public Library:  1530 Tower Avenue, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on every third Wednesday of the month.  As a point of reference, here are some of the upcoming dates for the remainder of 2022:  April 20, May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16, December 21.
