Superior Police Alert Public To Re-Locating Sex Offender

Law enforcement officials are working to get the word out about a re-locating person who is listed with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry Program - making an address change to Superior.  Paul Christopher Hanninen has a new address on the north end of Superior on Winter Street.

According to information released by the Superior Police Department, Hanninen was convicted in March 1998 of 2nd Degree Kidnapping charges in Minnesota.  The victim of the crime was an adult female who did not know Hanninen.  During the incident, the suspect used a weapon.

Hanninen's new address is listed as 725 Winter Street in Superior. His current status on the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry Program website is listed as "non-compliant".
