The Duluth business community had their turn a week or so ago; now it's time for Superior to have theirs.

Shoppers looking to support local businesses and get some of the best deals of the season won't have to wait very long.  The annual Sidewalk Sales in Superior will happen July 27 through July 29 along the walkways in the Superior Business Improvement District.

The event marks the return to form for businesses.  Sidewalk Sales was forced to take a break during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  While it returned last year, organizers anticipate that this years event will be especially big - with more than 20 businesses planning to take part.

According to the details shared by the Superior Telegram [paywall], shoppers can expect to see a lot if they drop by  "...from restaurants and retail shops to salons.  Visitors can expect sales, specials and prizes during the summer shindig".

Here is a list of businesses that have plans to participate:

  • 7 West Taphouse
  • Angie's Closet
  • Artistic Florals by Leslie
  • Black Fox Salon
  • Cedar Barn
  • Earth Exchange
  • Empire Coffee

The annual Sidewalk Sales event is a win-win for everyone:  customers get to shop and find a wide variety of good deals and the businesses themselves receive the support from the community. Jodi Rochon, Administrative Assistant for the Superior Business DIstrict offers:

"I encourage everyone to check out the sales these wonderful businesses are offering.  Supporting local small businesses is what it is all about."
