Of all the great rock and roll bands in the 1970's, perhaps none have the reputation that Faces had;  their sound was equal parts talent, liquor, and (on purpose) a sloppy sound that created a reverie that has lasted in the 40 years since they last performed together.

Now - fans will get a chance to see a three of the five members reunite to benefit prostate cancer research.

Rod Stewart posted a personal message on his website to announce the event:

This year is the 40th anniversary since The Faces parted ways so it’s about time we got together for a jam! Being in The Faces back in the day was a whirlwind of madness but my God, it was beyond brilliant. We are pleased to be able to support Prostate Cancer UK.
