Popular Wisconsin Diner Featured On ‘Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives’ Up For Sale
Dubbed a popular diner in the middle of nowhere, but worth a trip. The Delta Diner is for sale and looking for a new owner.
The diner has been open for nearly 20 years in Delta, Wisconsin. The listing is unique as it sits on a little over 6 acres and not only features a diner that has been on national television, but also other "revenue generating features" like The Tap Shack, A Jamaican Jerk Pit, and Tastebuds Coffee & Ice Cream.
Back in 2014, the popular diner was highlighted on the hit Food Network show 'Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives'. It was featured on Season 21, episode 7 titled 'Old School Joints'. While Guy Fieri was at the diner, he was impressed with the red-eye gravy made with ground espresso beans served over buttermilk biscuits. He also loved the Norwegian Pancake with jalapeno, calling it “a crepe gone wild.”
The episode even featured a Duluth, MN stop when Guy visited Ganucci's Italian Market & Restaurant.
Something unique about the diner, is they offer a verbal menu. In other words, you'll have to listen very carefully to the wait staff to hear it:
Let's dive into what is all on the land:
The Tap Shack
Here, you'll find a tribute to Jamaica. The food vibe at the shack is very Caribbean featuring Jerk chicken, pork, and fish, grilled pineapple, corn on the cob, and other delights. The painted murals fit with the vibe and they even partnered with Earth Rider from Superior for their craft brews on tap.
Here, you'll find an assortment of coffee and ice cream. You can also shop a selection of products from the Diner like hot sauces, pickled garlic, or other Diner merch.
The listing also states that the sale of the real estate, and goodwill includes but is not limited to: furniture, fixings and equipment, inventory, and business models. It is also noted that it has worked as a seasonal business.
