Another exciting addition is coming to Duluth's Lincoln Park area. A new marketplace will be opening in the vicinity very soon.

Update: the new spot will be open on Thursday, March 17th. They shared the news across social media on Tuesday (March 15th).

This is one of my many exciting new additions to the Lincoln Park district as of late. For example, a brand new coffee shop just opened in the area. It is called 190 Coffee & Tea and they held their grand opening in January of this year.

The spot is really cool, with an industrial vibe inside. It is located inside the new Enger Lofts and has coffee and tea (hence the name) among other treats like espresso, pastries and cascara.

In November, news broke that a taco shop would also be opening in Lincoln Park sometime this year. Hungry Hippie Tacos is already a popular spot in Grand Marais and soon, they will be opening their second location right here in Duluth.

Now, there is yet another exciting addition to the community: Goat Hill Marketplace. I first noticed the spot when I went to try out the new coffee shop inside Enger Lofts, mentioned prior. I noticed that something was going right into the space next door.

After some research, I discovered that it is indeed the Goat Hill Marketplace. Duluth Grill actually shared news of the marketplace back at the end of last year! The co-owner of Corktown Deli & Brews stated in a press release that it is an extension of their restaurant just down the block.

The spot will be located inside the Enger Lofts building, which is located at 1832 West Superior Street. The first floor of the building is filled with fun spots, like the coffee shop and now the marketplace.

Goat Hill Marketplace doesn't have an exact opening date just yet but their website states they are hoping to open this winter, which means it will likely be open sometime soon. They are located in suite 106.

The marketplace will have things for your home and pantry, along with other treasures. Photos shared on their social media pages show kitchen items galore, along with specialty items like cheese and cleaning supplies.

Another cool part of Goat Hill Marketplace is that they feature things from local restaurants! For example, you can get the famous OMC Smokehouse sauces at the marketplace, an homage to the spot just down the street.

The Goat Hill Marketplace seems like a perfect fit for the Lincoln Park area.

Soon, yet another business will be opening in Lincoln Park: a taco shop! Yes, there are two taco shops opening in Lincoln Park in the near future. This one will be called Oasis Del Norte, a popular food truck moving into a brick-and-mortar. The new spot will be in the old Big Bottle Liquor Store.

Here's What People Want To See In West Duluth's Closed Kmart Location

The Kmart in Spirit Valley closed several years ago. It's sat abandoned since, and it really is a waste of good space right in the heart of West Duluth. I recently asked our audience what they would like to see in that location in the future. There were many passionate responses.
