It may be spring but someone may want to tell the Northland.

Duluth residents and those in surrounding areas woke to a nice mix of rain and snow Monday (April 29th) morning. While we are very used to this, it still came to a little bit of a shock.

Snow did eventually taper off (minus a few flurries we saw overnight) and we even saw enough to measure accumulation.

WDIO Storm Team Meteorologist Taylor Dayton shared some snowfall totals on his Facebook page late Monday night. See how much we saw in the area below:

The National Weather Service of Duluth also shared some snowfall totals for surrounding areas on their Facebook page Monday evening. Take a look:

Ugh!

On the bright side, at least we didn't see anything like what we saw in February, which is now known as the snowiest February in Duluth history. However, if the snow wants to stop sometime soon, I don't think anyone would be complaining!
