MNDOT Unveils Roundabout Plans For I-35/Highway 33 Intersection Near Cloquet

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has big plans to improve the safety of a problematic intersection in the Northland and our area is about to see a major roundabout.  MNDOT has announced plans to install a roundabout at the intersection of I-35 and Highway 33 in Cloquet.

The move by the state hopes to alleviate the safety hazards that have plagued that intersection in the past.

A public meeting about the project has been scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 5:30 PM at the Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College - Room 195 - in Cloquet.
