The weather is getting warmer and that means that road construction work around the state will start to swing into full speed.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation has a wide variety of projects scheduled - including many here in the Twin Ports.

One of the most-visible projects here in the Duluth area is the multi-year Twin Ports Interchange (Can of Worms) project.  Work has continued throughout the winter months, but drivers will definitely notice a ramp-up as the weather turns warmer.

As MNDOT gets ready to move into another summer season at the Twin Ports Interchange work zone, they're providing updates to the general public.  In order to keep the general public informed along the process, the transportation agency has offered these public meetings as a way of sharing information and details, answering questions, and soliciting feedback and comment.

The next public meeting for the Twin Ports Interchange Project has been scheduled for Monday, April 25. While MNDOT has been starting to hold some of their public meetings with an in-person component, this particular session won't have one. Instead, the meeting will be a virtual session, with a couple of options for people to take part

Participants that need alternative formats are encouraged to reach out in advance of the meeting session. With advance notice, MNDOT can accommodate ASL, a foreign language interpreter, braille or large print, or other forms, submit a request to Janet Miller at 651-366-4720.
