Minnesota Twins Announce Prince Night, With Special Merchandise

The Minnesota Twins have announced they are going to honor Prince by giving him his own night and hand out Prince symbol guitars and offer a chance to purchase a special Prince hat.

The Twins have honored Prince before when he passed away but this will be a special night with the Prince sign blowup guitar, and a special purchase when you buy tickets of a purple Prince symbol hat.

One thing that most people didn't know was his pride for Minnesota sports teams. He was a big fan of the Vikings, Timberwolves, and Twins. He even wrote a song for the Vikings at one time.

Here are what fans can expect for Prince Night:

• The first 10,000 fans to Target Field will receive a limited edition purple inflatable Prince guitar (pictured below). Immediately following the seventh inning stretch, fans in possession of the inflatable Prince guitar will remain standing and illuminate their guitars for a special moment in remembrance of Prince.
• Fans who purchase a separate Prince Theme Night package will receive a co-branded Prince/Twins purple hat.  Fans must purchase the special Theme Night package to receive the hat.
