Another holiday - another change to the garbage pickup schedule for residents of the City of Superior.  The Public Works Department is working to alert homeowners in advance of the week of May 27 through May 31 that they'll need to alter their usual routine in order to have their trash collected.

Here are the details according to the City of Superior's website:  All city offices - including the Public Works Department - will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.  This closure also includes the Municipal Landfill - out on Moccasin Mike Road.  Because of this closure, there will not be garbage service on Monday.  Those who regularly get their trash collected on Monday should have it out to the usual collection spot by 7:00 AM on Tuesday.  Residents with Tuesday through Friday pickups can expect their trash collected on the usual days of the week - however, they should anticipate delays as the crews catch up.

Superior's recycling is collected by Hartels/DBJ.  The recycling schedule will be delayed by one day during this holiday.
