Medical Examiner Says Esko Football Player Died Of Natural Causes
The Northland suffered a tragedy when Esko sophomore Jackson Pfister died Friday after a football game in Aiken. Today, the medical examiner released the cause of death.

The preliminary report from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office, Jackson Pfister's death was due to congenital heart disease.
Pfister, an Esko High School student, died after collapsing during the Esko football team's varsity game at Aitkin High School Friday night.
The 15-year-old collapsed after the game Friday and was rushed to Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin where he died shortly thereafter.
Our media partners at WDIO-TV reported that the community of Esko is remembering Jackson for the amazing young man that he was. About 50 community members attended a gathering Sunday, along with a priest and school counseling staff, who will remain available to students.
