McDonalds Shamrock Shake Available In Five Varieties This Year; All Nine Northland Locations To Feature This Annual Treat

What's cool, minty and loved by millions of people?  For many people, that answer would be McDonald's Shamrock Shakes.  A fan favorite since 1970, the item has never officially been on the menu before - until this year.  But that's not all.  In honor of the St. Patrick's Day favorite, McDonald's giving fans five different varieties in which to order their minty  flavored treat.

According to Brandeating.com, here are the five varieties:

• Original Shamrock Shake
• Chocolate Shamrock Shake
• Shamrock Chocolate Chip Frappe
• Shamrock Hot Chocolate
• Shamrock Mocha

A brief call to the nine area McDonalds restaurant locations in the Twin Ports revealed that they were unsure of exactly when they would be available for order, but that they were "usually here by the first of March".
