Local Restaurant Gets A National Nod For Having The Best French Fries

We're blessed with many great places to eat in the Northland.  And while we have our share of national chain establishments, we are also lucky enough to have a wonderful selection of locally-owned restaurants;  It's also exciting when one of those more homegrown places gets recognized for the food they serve.

A recent list from thedailymeal.com has recognized a local restaurant for their french fries.

It'll probably come as no surprise that the fries-award goes to the Anchor Bar in Superior.  The Anchor has been a favorite for decades for their unique atmosphere and their spectacular burgers and fries.

This new recognition comes on the heels of a recent visit from the Food Network's "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives".
