People looking to get in a quick round of golf - or, those who live along a stretch of the Lester River Road will need to know about a three-week closure.  Starting Monday, July 22, the segment of the Lester River Road  that runs from the golf course to Strand Road will close to all traffic - to allow for a culvert replacement project being performed by the St. Louis County Public Works Department.

According to information provided by St. Louis County, customers who wish to access the Lester Park Golf Course will enter using Superior Street. There will be signs posted to alert drivers to the correct route that they should take.

This particular closure is just the first part of the project.  Estimated timelines for that project anticipate it being wrapped up sometime this fall. To learn more about this project or any of the road projects currently underway in St. Louis County, click here.
