Holy gorgeous! This house is not only absolutely stunning, but it's also incredibly unique. According to the listing, the home was built and owned by a renowned Minnesota Commercial architect - Charles Albert Dykins. How cool is that? You can tell a lot of thought and creativity went in to designing this place.

According to the obituary for Charles in the Star Tribune, he started his own Architectural firm designing banks throughout the Midwest. He designed and built this home in 1956 and lived there with his family for 60 years!

The home still has a ton of the original features, but in addition several tasteful updates that make it all around super desirable. I can't get enough of the original redwood beams, the Chicago-brick wall, and polished concrete floors. Three of my all time faves when peeking at older homes.
