Minnesota officials are preparing to host a massive event. A local leader recently spoke to a Minnesota House committed and described it as "second only in size and economic impact to the Super Bowl"

According to Bring Me The News, "Wendy Blackshaw of Minnesota Sports and Events – the regional sports commission for Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Bloomington – told a Minnesota House committee meeting Wednesday they are preparing to announce an event for the Twin Cities second only in size and economic impact to the SuperBowl, which the city hosted in 2018."
