Wisconsin’s Biggest And Most Powerful Tornadoes Since 2014
While Wisconsin isn't in the traditional area known as "Tornado Alley", the Badger State still sees a number of tornadoes each year.
According to data from the National Weather Service, there have been a total of 320 tornadoes since 2014, with the dataset ending at June 2025.
Over that span of time, Wisconsin has seen an average of about 26 tornadoes per year, with the most tornadic months unsurprisingly being in the heart of summertime.
While there have been tornadoes recorded as early as February and as late as December since 2014, the busiest months for tornadoes in Wisconsin since 2014 have been June (87 tornadoes), July (72 tornadoes), and a third-place tie between May and August with 52 total tornadoes each since the start of 2014.

In addition, thankfully, most of the state's tornadoes have also not included reports of injuries or deaths associated with them.

That said, there have still been plenty of larger, more destructive tornadoes that have caused lengthy paths of damage along with injuries and deaths.
Here's a look at the tornadoes Wisconsin has seen that have the reputation of being the most destructive and deadly since the start of the 2014 season.
