After a winter where much of the region hasn't seen a lot of snow, Minnesota and Wisconsin are getting one of the biggest storms of the season.

Some forecasts before the storm suggested totals near 2-3 feet in parts of Minnesota during this multi-day snow event, making for an aggressive end to an otherwise quiet winter season.

Snow pushed into Minnesota over the weekend, spreading into Wisconsin, with promises to linger into the middle of the week.
