Minnesota State Patrol Nabs Vikings Legend After Draft Night Party
The Minnesota Vikings have had to deal with players and their legal troubles for years, but thankfully, this incident did not involve a current player.

Adrian Peterson Meets Fans at Vikings Draft Party
Last night, the Vikings welcomed former running back Adrian Peterson to U.S. Bank Stadium to meet fans and chat with the live radio broadcast from KFAN. However, it is what happened after the party that got Peterson in trouble with law enforcement.

According to records from Hennepin County, Peterson was arrested and booked into jail at 5:15 this morning. He was released on a $4,000 bond at around 7:30 AM.
Peterson was pulled over by the Minnesota State Patrol and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He is due back in Minnesota for a court appearance on May 9th.
Adrian Peterson’s Past Legal Troubles
The former star running back has had plenty of legal issues over the years. In 2014, he was charged with felony child abuse and has faced several legal battles over child support and failing to turn over assets to pay off an estimated $12 million in debt.
Peterson was drafted by the Vikings in 2007 and played for the team for 10 years. He also played for Washington, New Orleans, Detroit, Tennessee, and Seattle. Peterson still holds several NFL records, including the most single-game rushing yards, for the 296 yards he ran on November 4th, 2007. He will be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in two years.
