2 Mile Trail Leads To Hidden Gem In Wisconsin Forest
I had a friend share some photos with me of this hidden gem in the woods of Northern Wisconsin. Sometimes the coolest places aren't that far off the beaten path, you just need to know where to look for them.
Lost Creek Falls Trail is in Bayfield County in Northern Wisconsin. It's near the town of Cornucopia.
It's listed on the Lake Superior Circle Tour page as a hike with moderate difficulty. It's a 2-mile out-and-back trail that goes to the Lost Creek Falls. The falls are 15 feet high, and you can even go inside the waterfall and view it from behind the water.
The trail crosses Lost Creek through the woods with two bridges, lined with bright wild berries if you are there in season. It's a well-marked trail with boardwalks and gravel.
This is just one of many hiking trails dotted along Lake Superior in Northern Wisconsin. There are over 200 trails all around Lake Superior for hiking with varying difficulties.

Of course, if you are in the Bayfield area, you'll want to make sure to check out the Apostle Islands while you are there.

If you drive in the opposite direction, West, you can visit Wisconsin's largest waterfall at Pattison State Park. That's something to see for sure!
Be sure to check out all of the cool things to do on the South Shore of Lake Superior. It's definitely worth a summer trip.
