Since the series first aired on Food Network in April 2007, Guy Fieri's show, "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" ("Triple D"), has had a significant and undeniable impact on the featured restaurants and the broader food landscape.

Restaurants across the country have welcomed Guy and the show as it gives owners the chance to show off their restaurant, staff, and community.

To date, Guy and the Triple D crew have visited 8 Wisconsin locations. Unfortunately, several of those places have since closed, despite having great food and atmosphere.

Hopefully, the show continues into 2026 and beyond so they can add to their visits to Wisconsin. Below are the Wisconsin places Guy has singled out so far.

Wisconsin Restaurarants Showcased On "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives"

The Anchor Bar, 413 Tower Avenue in Superior, Wisconsin

'Triple-D fans love the Gally Buster, which is a 1-pound triple cheeseburger for only $6. If you don’t mind spicy, try the Jalapeno Cream Cheese Burger with extra bacon, or go crunchy with the Cashew Burger.'

The Brickhouse Cafe and Catering, at 13485 Reynolds Street in Cable, Wisconsin

'The standout at The Brick House Cafe is the espresso BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Prepared with a homemade dry rub and then marinated, the pork is topped with a delicious barbecue sauce that gives it a smoky flavor.'

Cempazuchi

NOTE: Cempazuchi, which was located at 1205 E Brady Street in Milwaukee, has since closed.

When Guy visited them, he appreciated the unique, authentic dishes they had to offer, like the duck tacos and Fajitas de Nortenos.

Comet Cafe, located at 1947 N Farwell Avenue in Milwaukee

Bring your appetite for the meat mountain! 'A stack of meatloaf, bacon, mashed potatoes, and bacon on rye bread. Starving? Try the Akimbo Burger, which uses two grilled cheese sandwiches for a bun, or order a beer and get a bottomless bowl of bacon.'

Delta Diner, at 14385 County Highway H in Delta

Guy tried and loved the Norwegian Pancake with jalapeno, declaring it “a crepe gone wild." The menu features delicious twists on familiar favorites.

NOTE: The Comet Cafe is currently looking to transition to new ownership, and it will re-open once that process is finalized.

Franks Diner, at 508 58th Street in Kenosha

On the show, Guy took a 'heaping' mouthful of the famous Garbage Plate. The signature dish made of hash and eggs (and everything in between) has made the Kenosha diner an institution since 1926.

Kounty Quarthouse

NOTE: The Kounty Quarthouse, which was located at 4119 County Road K, in South Range, has since closed.

When Guy visited, he loved the Chipotle brisket, which was stacked on top of cheddar biscuits and served with chipotle sauce made from scratch.

Shorty’s Pizza & Smoked Meat

NOTE: Shorty's Pizza & Smoked Meat, which was located at 1015 Tower Avenue in Superior, has since closed.

When Guy visited them, he knew to order the hidden dish that was not on the menu: The Hunter's Chicken, which featured a signature sauce that was their take on a red wine reduction.

Season 51 of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is scheduled to premiere on February 14, 2025, on Food Network. One would hope that Guy Fieri would add more Wisconsin stops, especially since several of the places he visited are no longer available. I
