The Most Gambling-Addicted States: Where Do MN + WI Rank?
Here's something to celebrate: Minnesota and Wisconsin are not the most gambling-addicted states in the country. Those titles are reserved for other states this time around.
The Most Gambling-Addicted States
WalletHub released a ranking of the most gambling-addicted states to the least gambling-addicted states. They dropped this list on Tuesday (April 23rd).
Gambling can be a fun pastime but if you are addicted to it or have a problem with it, it can turn dangerous quickly. So how did we do in Minnesota and Wisconsin?
Wisconsin Killed It!
Wisconsin is one of the least gambling-addicted states, coming in at number 45 on this list. The Cheesehead State can be found near the bottom of the list, meaning gambling isn't really a massive statewide problem right now.

This study looked into things like casinos per capita, gaming machines per capita, lottery sales per capita, gambling arrests per capita, percentage of adults with gambling disorders, and more.
What About Minnesota?
Minnesota didn't do terrible in this one but the Land Of 10,000 Lakes didn't exactly thrive either. Minnesota came in at number 21, meaning we are closer to the top of the list than the bottom.

Unfortunately, Minnesota did come in first place in terms of adults with a gambling disorder. It's not surprising to know that Nevada came in on top here as the most gambling-addicted state. What else do you expect when you are the home of Las Vegas?
