
Three Dead in Fire Near Minnesota-Wisconsin border
Grantsburg, WI (MinnesotaNow) - Authorities in western Wisconsin are investigating the deaths of three people in a house fire.
The Burnett County Sheriff’s Office says the fire was reported around 4:50 a.m. Saturday at a rural property in Anderson Township. The site of the deadly blaze is approximately 7 miles east of Rush City and about 3 miles from the Minnesota–Wisconsin border.

A news release from the Sheriff’s Office indicates first responders found the residence fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
The three occupants of the home were found deceased. Their names have not been released.
The Wisconsin Fire Marshal’s Office was dispatched to investigate the cause of the fire.
