No, I'm not gonna tell you a lie. One of the most-famous skyscrapers in all the state of Minnesota is up for sale. StarTribune.com is reporting that the IDS Center located on Nicollet Mall is being marketed by Chicago-based HFF on behalf of the building’s owner Inland American Real Estate Trust Inc.

The building opened in 1972 and currently the 57-story skyscraper is home to Crystal Court, Globe University, the Marquette Hotel, plus five banks, several retailers, including Gap and Banana Republic, and restaurants such as Mission and Cosi.

No price was given, but if you are interested you may need a co-signer for your loan. The building was last sold in 2006 for nearly $278 million.

So, I don't think Dad will be able to float you a loan on that one and Uncle Bob won't co sign.
