I-35 Lane Closures Happen January 31 Near Barnum

A quick one-day project will bring single lane closures with it along I-35.  Officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation are alerting drivers about the lane closures on I-35 near Barnum on Friday, January 31 - during the daylight hours.

According to collateral released by MNDOT, the lane closures are necessary to facilitate a survey crew who will be drilling core samples on the northbound lanes. Work crews will have the proper signs out to warn drivers in advance of the actual construction zone.  The work isn't expected to last beyond the projected timeline released by the agency.
