Spring is here and with it comes the annual cleaning projects.  It's no different for the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

As part of their annual bridge flushing, they'll be working along the I-35 corridor in the Duluth metro this week, with alternating lane closures happening March 30 though April 2.  Drivers who utilize the I-35 corridor should anticipate the lane closures in both the northbound and the southbound lanes during the daytime hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

As with any road construction project, inspection, or maintenance work, MNDOT requests that drivers use caution and be observant as they pass through the area.  And with all of the concerns about COVID-19, MNDOT is assuring the general public that even as road work continues on as scheduled, the crews are using social distancing practices to prevent the further spread of the virus.
